Transparent math

The estimate uses only numbers you control.

  1. Missed appointmentsAppointments × no-show rate
  2. Net revenue at riskMissed appointments × value × unfilled share

Questions about no-show cost

How do I calculate my no-show rate?

For one consistent period, divide appointments that were missed without enough notice by all scheduled appointments, then multiply by 100.

Why account for refilled slots?

A cancelled or missed slot does not create the full revenue loss when a waitlist, walk-in, or reschedule fills it. The refill input keeps the estimate from overstating the impact.
